An Open Invitiation
Monroe Community Church is a growing church that meets at Barclay Brook Elementary School in Monroe on Sunday mornings. We are expanding and want you to be part of it.
I invite you to join me on Sunday, and experience this growing community of faith that seeks to celebrate and share God’s love through words and deeds.
Like you, we care about building relationships, raising strong families and staying connected to the community. We have friendly people, uplifting music and great programs for everyone in the family, plus an inspiring weekly message to breathe new life into your week.
For about 6 years, we’ve had a casual and contemporary worship atmosphere. This atmosphere can be found regularly at our 11am Contemporary service. This service includes a children’s message as well as children’s tables at the back of the worship area during the sermon.
On September 13th, we’ll be adding a second service to our morning, a traditional worship service at 9am. A choir director will play organ music, hymns will be sung, and in the coming months we’ll look to build a choir to join the music director at this service.
In between the two worship services, at 10am, we will offer Sunday School for all ages. Children ages 3 through 6th grade will be taught a new curriculum this year called, Buzz, which will give the kids a strong theological framework about who God is. Through the program, children will know and understand eight foundational truths about God—He is loving, perfect, forgiving, faithful, real, giving, powerful, and good. Every quarter each age level focuses on a different attribute of God through a unique, fun theme and age-appropriate Bible lessons. Plus, we’re launching a new youth program for children in grades 6th – 12th. The Youth will have Sunday School at 10:00am every week, and the youth group will also meet twice a month on Sunday evenings from 6-8pm for fellowship, missions, and study. Adults are also invited to participate in a book study during the 10am timeblock. Childcare is provided for infants through age 3 during Sunday School and the Contemporary Service.

9:00am Traditional Service
10:00am Sunday School for ages 3 years through adults
11:00am Contemporary Service
Nursery is open 10:00am – 12:00pm to infants through 3 year-olds.
Worship Location: Barclay Brook Elementary School, 358 Buckelew Avenue, Monroe Township, NJ
Parking: Feel free to park anywhere in the school parking lot, we use the side doors by the cafeteria and gymnasium to enter/exit the building.
